Holmes Kids Show The Way and the Round Table Donates A Bench
A Busy Time In Late Spring 2010!
Children set an example to follow:
On Saturday 1st May 3 children, Georgia, Pete & Chris Holmes, had walked along Warmingham Lane and later told their parents there was litter that needing picking up so on the following Sunday that's what they did. Father Marc was on hand to keep an eye on things and capture their work on camera. Click here to see the resulting images displayed in Facebook. Asked if there were any sepcial circumstances Marc commented "Not really, it's just what the kids like doing." Well, well done kids, Middlewich will be cleaner as a result. Wouldn't it be good if more children and adults follow this good example? If you would like to help too then you can register your interest in volunteering by clicking here.

New Round Table Bench:
Photo & Article: Middlewich Guardian
A new bench will be placed in the grounds of St Michael's Church to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Middlewich Round Table. Middlewich Clean Team succeeded in securing the bench with the help of the Round Table and Cheshire East Streetscape. Janet Chisholm, Clean Team member leading the project, said: "Both Round Table and Cheshire East have been fantastic. "This new bench is in the heart of our town and is already well used by our community." Stuart Eustace, chairman of the Middlewich Round Table, said: "When Middlewich Clean Team approached us, we were only too happy to financially support the project. " It's a nice tribute to all of the present and past members of Middlewich and District Round Table, who have done so much excellent community and charity work within the town."
