Our next litter pick and SAVE THE DAY

Hello everyone

This is just a quick reminder that our next litter pick will be this Saturday 30^th April, meeting 2pm at the Salt Cellar Car Park. Let’s hope the weather is Spring-like and that we can enjoy an hour’s litter picking in sunshine.

Could I also ask you to SAVE THE DAY for our Birthday Party for the Queen. We will be holding a very special party on Saturday 25^th June – so keep the date free and more details will follow very soon. In the meantime, I look forward to seeing some of you on Saturday.

Very best wishes

Janet

Missing Litter Pick Dates

Hi All,

I added the latest newsletter as soon as I had it, so that included taking the pick dates from it and placing them in the diary for upcoming events. Unfortunately I didn't notice the overlap in the pick dates when I deleted the old entry.

No problem. From now on the diary will include pick dates from the two most recent newsletters (click here to see).

Regards, Ian

Our next litter pick

Good morning all

Spring is here at last so I’m hoping for some good weather for litter picking! Our next scheduled litter pick is on Monday 11^th April, meeting at 2pm in Kings Lock car park.

We will, as always, just pick for an hour. It’s a very sociable way to ‘do your bit’ and don’t forget that friends and family will be made very welcome if they come along with you.

Hoping to see you there,

Very best wishes

Janet

Clean For The Queen - Video Report

On 5th March 2016 we were joined by members of the Middle-Wyches WI and the Middlewich U3A to help to make Middlewich a tidier place that we can all be proud of. Over 30 people met up at Town Bridge car park where they split into groups for an hour's picking at a variety of previously identified areas around Middlewich.

The aim of the "Clean For The Queen" is to clean up Britain in time for the Queen's 90th Birthday on 21st April and to this end other nearby areas were also covered by clean team members such as Croxton  Lane. Out and about nearby were Moston Litter Pickers and the Canal and River Trust too.

If you would like to join in and help the Middlewich Clean Team the please contact us, details are on ourContact Us page.
