Middlewich Clean Team visited hundreds of youngsters to teach them the
merits of keeping their town tidy. MCT members Hilary Jones & Carol
Eccles spent four hours attending Playbox play group,Peter Pan play
group, Tommy Thumbs pre-school, Cledford School Nursery, Rainbow day
nursery and Leaps and Bounds day nursery.
They taught the children the work of the Clean Team before letting them try the litter pickers for themselves. Hilary said, "Everyone was pleased to see us. We had a good response from the children. We sang a song with actions, which the children enjoyed copying."
