The Middlewich Clean Team’s annual community bulb planting event took
place on Sunday, 21st October. We were joined by Fiona Bruce MP,
representatives of Middlewich Cricket Club, the 2nd Cledford Brownies
and other residents and in less than an hour had planted hundreds of
daffodil bulbs. The planting went like clock work and everyone was in
good spirits. The whole event was lovely and Middlewich Cricket Club
kindly hosted refreshments afterwards.
Janet Chisholm, the Chairperson of the Clean Team said “It was wonderful to see so many people willing to help to brighten up our town and particular thanks go to the Cricket Club and the Brownies for their valuable help and to Tulloch Private Hire, Winsford and Middlewich Rotary Club and Middlewich and District Round Table for sponsoring the event”.
